I’m Simon, Dad to two wonderful daughters, and hotelier to two legendary cats.

Home for me is on the edge of the South Downs near Winchester, Hampshire. But London’s wealth of social, creative, artistic and cultural awesomeness means I split my time between the country and the capital as much as I can.

My background doesn’t lie in the creative arts. For two decades, I looked after blue-chip companies on behalf of the automotive industry’s largest premium automotive brands. And then in 2019, after much soul-searching on what I wanted from the second half of my professional life, I re-trained as a photographer.

I chose this second chapter very deliberately. Although - or maybe because - my daughters now live overseas, family represents something profoundly important to me. Love, and building something permanent with the one with whom that love is shared, is profoundly important to me. So it’s probably no coincidence that it’s weddings that I’ve chosen to capture.

For me, photography isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to document what is most fundamental.
